Using an Offer Code at Screwfix

One you’ve selected a Screwfix offer code, just follow these simple steps to claim your discount. Remember, you can stay updates with all the latest Screwfix deals and codes by signing up to the SmartClicks email alerts.

1. Select a current Screwfix offer code. Click the ‘Show Code & Visit Site’ button to reveal the code. The Screwfix Web site will open in a new browser window.
2. Add your chosen items to your shopping trolley.
3. Proceed to the checkout stage. On the Screwfix ‘Check Order Details’ page, look for the ‘Special Instructions’ box. Enter the offer code into this box. See the screenshot below for more information.

Please note that the discount will be deducted from your order total before your card is charged (it will not show on the checkout total or confirmation email).

Problems Using the Offer Code

If the code didn’t work as expected, check the following tips and try again.

1. Is there a minimum spend amount required? Screwfix codes usually require you to spend £50 before the discount will apply.
2. Has the offer code expired? You can check the expiry date on the Screwfix offer codes page.
3. Make sure you enter the code exactly as it appears on SmartClicks. Codes are often case sensitive, for example ‘SCREWFIX’ isn’t the same as ‘screwfix’.
   
   Please note that a Screwfix voucher is not the same as a Screwfix offer code. Vouchers are similar to gift vouchers and are not discussed here. Offer codes are used to receive a discount on your order. You must enter a Screwfix offer code into the correct box on the ‘Check Order Details’ page - not the voucher box on the ‘Payment’ page.
