It was the first time I'd ever bought anything over the internet and I was rather nervous about it, but your web site was very user friendly and it took no time at all to place the order. My other worry was that the wardrobe wouldn't look like the photos on the web site, but when I unpacked it I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was just as good, if not better, than the pictures has lead me to believe. It has made my work surprisingly a lot more organised with the great little storage facilities, draws & shelf unit. My favourite part about it is that the draw base is solid too….no more worrying about losing stationary or paperwork when the draws are full. Really good value for money and quick delivery. Comments: Testimonial - "I ordered the 6ft x 3ft Solid Oak Extending Dining Table + 10 Brown Leather Scroll Back Chairs two weeks ago and it arrived today – just in time for my dinner party this weekend! I'm so happy with it. It looks stunning and made from such beautiful oak. I have been looking for a large table to fit our dining room as we quite often entertain and have to bring in spare chairs; this table is perfect and came with 10 leather chairs which look so stylish! I can't wait to show my new table & chairs off! I'll pretend it cost a lot more than it did!"

Comments: I don't normally submit reviews but feel I should on this occasion. I bought a beautiful oak table from Oakfurnitureland, the table was really fantastic just what I wanted and great value for money. Unfortunately after 11mths this table developed woodworm and after numerous calls/emails to the aftersales team i eventually receieved a replacement. However this table was damaged on delivery and differed in size from the original. Eventually after numerous lengthy phone calls and emails I was finally offered a full refund but only by speaking to the manager. The manager of this company was more than understanding and very helpful which is more than can be said of his staff. They were very hostile and consistently unhelpful towards me, to be quite honest their manner and attitude to me as a customer was disgusting and I find it hard to believe this is Oakfurniturelands policy. I will not be using this company again, dont get me wrong their products are excellent but when things go wrong I pity anyone who has to contact the after sales team!

Comments: I had been impressed with the service I had originally received but the real test of customer service comes when something goes wrong. I was delivered a faulty piece of furniture, I understand this can happen and is nobody's fault so when I rang to request an exchange I was faced with what only can be described as appalling after care service. As I was not willing to have my brand new faulty furniture repaired a collection was arranged. over 2 weeks later the furniture was collected, I was advised at the time of my call my money would be refunded upon collection of my goods. Some 11 days after collection I chased my refund, I was then advised it was my responsibility to call oak furniture to confirm collection and release my refund. I received an apology and was promised my refund would be processed within 7-10 days. WRONG! Then a further email and again a further promise and yet still nothing.
As a company that is proud to have achieved the award of 'Sunday Times Fast Track 100' and claims 'We are confident that you will be delighted with your furniture. In the unlikely event that you should wish to return an item to us, we are pleased to offer a 7 day money back guarantee, commencing the day after delivery' I am keen to hear your response to my recent experience with yourselves.I am shocked at how badly I have been treated. I fail to see why a business would wish to treat anyone in this way especially while we all face such difficult times on the high street.
23 days after collecting my faulty item I still do not have my refund
